Description

The Empire Clock:

Globe with a brass base and built-in clockwork with built-in 24-hour dial on the equator ring. The brass ring around the equator indicates every region of the earth. One hand can be adjusted vertically to the local position. Craftsmanship of the highest perfection.

Marked Patent on the bottom of the upper base and BREV on the other side. S.G.D.G. – Breveté “Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement” a possible reference to the export for the French market at the bottom of the base plate of the movement the number 118 probably the consecutive serial number of the production.

An emblem on the globe reads: Patent number 19460 “THE EMPIRE CLOCK cable.

The movement has recently been overhauled, the globe has the original patina and is in its original condition.

A rare collector’s item!
