Bible verses 12: 1-23

When King Herod realized that the Jews liked to persecute Christians, he had the apostles captured. Apostle Peter was imprisoned and guarded by four soldiers. When Apostle Peter slept in the cell, suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared before him saying "throw your cloak over and follow me" see Acts of the Apostles. 12.3. They passed through the gate, past the sleeping guards, to freedom. The scene shows the icon presented here.
